This role is responsible for the company’s division data governance strategy and execution. The role is responsible for partnering with leadership across the enterprise to understand and manage data needs and develop the vision and roadmap for data governance.

- This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
- Leads a council of subject matter experts, representing business areas across the enterprise, charged with governing data.
- Develops, documents, manages, and provides oversight on data governance and data management policies, processes, standards, and procedures.
- Matures the data governance program, securing engagement and buy in for enterprise-wide data stewardship and ownership communities by engaging business leaders and defining roles and responsibilities.
- Measures and oversees efforts to improve data quality.
- Develops and institutes data access policies and procedures that balance adequately protecting data with providing access to data for timely business decision-making.
- Helps embed the use and management of high-quality data and analytics in OSI's culture and decision-making.
- Works closely with IT and Information Privacy & Security to ensure the data governance framework and management of data assets is aligned with the corporate architecture vision and relevant privacy and security laws, regulations, and policies.
- Leads and participates in data governance process audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- 5-10 years of experience in related field is preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- and seven years of related work experience to include data modeling and governance, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory/management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Consumer-Packaged Goods and/or business operations.
- Experience in leadership roles, building consensus within large groups of partners with disparate objectives and needs.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong requirements gathering, program & project management skills.
- Experience in OLAP tools, databases, data modeling, data relationships, and reference data management.
- Knowledge of dashboards and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of data management and governance principles
- Demonstrated proficiency of data (types, content reliability, etc.).
- Demonstrated problem solving and data collection, analysis, and interpretation skills.
- Including but not limited to Access, and Project/Visio
- BA/BS or equivalent is preferred
- Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
- Work conditions are typical of an office environment.
- This role does not require any domestic travel
- Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds
- Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
- Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
