The Asset Liability Management (ALM) Treasury Controllers unit within the Corporate Controllers organization of Prudential Financial Inc. (PFI) is seeking a self-motivated Manager of Financial Reporting.

The Treasury Controllers unit is primarily responsible for derivative reporting, analyzing and communicating actual and forecasted GAAP, Statutory (STAT) and AOI basis derivative results to senior management, Prudential businesses and external filings under applicable accounting standards. The unit is also responsible for supporting strategic initiatives involving derivatives, associated AOI policies, reporting and analysis of international derivatives and foreign exchange ("FX") activities, monitoring and analysis of company-wide cumulative translation adjustment (CTA), and Controllership of Prudential Global Funding (PGF), a subsidiary housing PFI's derivative transactions.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Oversee the derivative ALM forecast by reviewing projected income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow results from Numerix for accuracy
• Analyze and summarize forecasted AOI and GAAP Income results by profit center and communicate results to senior management, BU P&A teams, and portfolio managers
• Manage the reporting and analysis of derivatives related to Prudential's international segments, FX activity, and CTA to senior management
• Oversee the monthly and quarterly PGF book close and reporting process to ensure timely and accurate reporting and create efficiencies on existing processes

• Produce external and management reporting and analysis of actual and forecasted derivative results for applicable profit center and legal entity
• Ensure compliance with derivative accounting and disclosure per applicable accounting guidance and relevant legal entities
• Application of appropriate accounting guidance to strategic initiatives involving derivatives
• The position interacts and collaborates with various stakeholders across the organization (e.g. Investment Operations, CIO, Asset Managers, SEC Reporting, GAAP Consolidation, Corporate Consolidated P&A, ALM P&A, International Finance and P&A, PGF traders, and systems area supporting derivative etc.)

Successful candidate will possess strong communication and partnering skills, who is inquisitive and self-motivated to make applicable changes to status quo, has track record of effectively leading and developing the team, and is comfortable working under tight time frames and across the organization.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of work experience in financial analysis and reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics required
• Individual with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of Tableau and other data visualization tools a plus
• Manager of people with a strong sense of teamwork
• Experience of investments, derivatives and foreign currencies is a plus
• Advanced degree (e.g. MBA) and/or professional designation (e.g. CPA, CFA) a plus
• Overtime required during peak periods

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $111,400.00 to $165,800.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
