We are looking for a Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities:
- Use of truck, tractor, sweeper
- Overall equipment maintenance to include HVAC systems
- Perform all work in accordance with Lock-Out/Tag-Out orders and assist with safety procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule
- Manage all electrical needs throughout the plant from 120 volts to 480 – three phase machinery
- Involvement with ISO9001 quality standards and electrical test equipment, along with test equipment calibration requirements
- Work with vendors and online order for purchase of machine parts and janitorial supplies
- Basic carpentry and plumbing skills to assist with keeping facility running smoothly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience as a mechanic/electrician in a manufacturing environment
- High School diploma or GED, technical school preferred
- Basic carpentry and plumbing skills
- Ability to operate power tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, work off stepladders, lift, push or pull 75 pounds
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of ISO9001 quality standards and electrical test equipment helpful
- Must be able to work with high degree of safety, urgency and quality
- Basic computer skills, email, and order products on-line. Microsoft Office preferred
- Attention to detail, flexibility, job knowledge
- Good listening and communication skills
