2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

At our Martinsburg facility we have an immediate opening.

Hours are 3:30 PM- 2:00 AM Monday through Thursday.

Here are the major Responsibilities:

• Repair machinery and equipment, including basic electrical work.
• Interpret product specifications, blueprints and job orders to machine operators.
• Maintain and provide manufacturing information by compiling, sorting, and analyzing performance records and data.
• Maintain work flow by monitoring production process, equipment and personnel and establishing process variables to meet production goals.
• Facilitate engineering activities in support of new product and process introduction.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, efficiencies, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Ensure operation of the equipment - report process issues and initiate maintenance requests.
• Complete shift paperwork and communication with other shift supervisors and Production Manager.
• Assist in production as necessary.

Qualified candidates should possess:

• Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Five years mechanical/electrical experience preferred.
• Associates Degree - Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or the equivalent years of experience in a technical field preferred.
• Ability to lift: 10 lbs. regularly, 25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs.
