Maintenance Technician-1St Shift-Direct Placement

Job Description:

- Looking for two service technicians

- Candidates will be responsible for full service and repairs of overhead cranes inside various manufacturing facilities

- Candidates will be performing both mechanical and electrical repairs. About 60/40 mechanical vs electrical

- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

- Electrical troubleshooting/diagnosing of contactors, sensors, motors, drives, vfd

- 480v 3phase, 240v, 110v, 24v, ac/dc

- Mechanical troubleshooting of cranes, motors, hydraulics, bearings etc.

- Reading of blueprints and schematics

- Quoting of jobs/projects. This will be trained

- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

- Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers. Discuss with customers issues and time of repairs

- Will be given a tablet and company vehicle to go to customer locations

- Could go up to 80 ft in the air

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- MUST have 3+yrs of industrial maintenance experience

- Must be 60/40 or 70/30 mechanical vs electrical

- MUST be able to electrically troubleshoot industrial equipment

- MUST be able to troubleshoot up to 480v 3phase industrial equipment

- MUST be able to mechanically troubleshoot

- MUST be able to read blueprints and schematics

- MUST have own tools

- MUST be able to provide high levels of customer service to clients/customers

Work Environment:

- This company services and installs overhead cranes

- Monday to Friday 7a to 330p

- 40hrs minimum to 55hrs a week

- Technicians will service customers 50miles around the Toledo area. As far north as Detroit, East to Clyde, West to Indiana boarder, South to Findlay

- Second opening and candidates will service customers around the Lima/Findlay area going 40 miles in any direction.

- Weekends are voluntary

- Every 11th or 12th week technicians rotate amongst each other being on call the whole week. They will be on call and will respond to all calls, could go down as far south as Findlay/Lima, west to Ohio/Indiana border, east to Clyde, north to Detroit
