We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be assisting our team in maintaining over 20 facilities located around San Diego County. If you’re hard-working and dedicated there is room to grow in this position!
Who you are:
- Task-oriented individual comfortable working on your own
- Can-do attitude with a teamwork approach to getting work done
- Excited by a myriad of different things to accomplish with each day being busy but different
- Desire to work in an environment mission-focused on serving persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
A typical day will include:
- Supporting building and grounds maintenance of multiple facilities
- Tracking service requests through a web-based program
- Identifying root causes or recommending best practices for ongoing issues if not immediately identified
- Performing multiple physical maintenance tasks such as: repairing leaks, repairing drywall, painting, minor plumbing replacement, outlet/plug/bulb replacement, digging trenches, repairing fences
What you’ll need to be successful:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Attention to detail
- Physically capable of performing a range of tasks; including moving and lifting equipment and materials up to 100 pounds; ability and willingness to work in adverse weather
- Valid CA Driver’s License
- Experience in residential and/or commercial building maintenance tasks
We’d love it if you:
- Had experience with using computer systems to track service requests
- Had professional drywall and painting experience
