Manager: Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure food safety, quality and legality
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems
- Make repairs and alterations for facility as directed
- Performs mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance as required
- Assists in the assembly and dismantling of production machinery
- Maintains accurate record of completed assignments
- Keeps management informed of machinery and facility problems
- Assists in other departmental areas as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition; ability to lift 75 lbs.; ability to operate all necessary hand tools; ability to kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, etc. to reach items in need of repair; ability to drive fork lift, yard dog, and truck; tolerance to all extreme weather conditions, such as very hot or very cold temperatures

- In-depth knowledge of facility operations, people, products, and equipment
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements and guidelines necessary to operating a raw processing facility

- Computer skills: blueprints, drawings, layouts, spreadsheets, and powerful, yet simple, presentations
