We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist Mechanic to join our team. As a Machinist Mechanic, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the finished products.
```Duties```
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Measure, examine, and test completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications
- Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and depth of cut
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect tooling for wear or defects and replace as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proficiency in operating various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawings
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and other accessories used in machining operations
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Some assembly and disassembly including inspection required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $31.27 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Machining: 3 years (Required)
