Machine Shop Generalist

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is expanding its CNC machining capabilities and is seeking a utility team member to join our machine shop. This is a great opportunity bring your mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills to our growing company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly and inspection of fabricated parts.
• Organize, inventory, and prepare raw material stock and new tooling received from suppliers.
• Assist with general machine shop cleaning/housekeeping task daily.
• Aid in the deburring of fabricated parts.
• Setup, torque and tag tools with appropriate tool information.
• Issue, inspect and return job tooling.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate).
• Ability to safely lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with machine shop equipment.
• Ability to use precise measuring equipment to perform inspections.
• Computer proficiency and a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience in an ISO-9001 environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting pay is $18.00-21.00 per hour based on past relevant experience. Extreme Engineering Solutions offers a competitive compensation package excellent benefits, including:
