Machine set-up and troubleshooting Operator needs to change tooling during changeover of lots Tools required to complete task may include screwdriver, hex key (Allen wrench), wrench, pliers, and mallets. Operators may need to make adjustments to the machine and tooling throughout the shift Monitor production yields and scrap Operators are expected to work toward achieving production standards Operators are required to record yield and scrap daily and escalate any issues Perform SPC Operators are required to measure needles using micrometers, comparators, and other measuring devices. Operators are required to perform inspection of needles through a microscope.
Microscopes are used at most operations and all operators are trained to final inspection where employees perform 100% inspection through a microscope up to 4 hours daily. Operators are required to enter all SPC results into the computer. Escalate issues or concerns Operators are expected to escalate and communicate all issues and concerns to team lead or other designee.
Confirmation of work Operators are required to confirm labor hours and quantities produced/scrapped into BPCS daily. Operators are required to fill out logbook daily with results, issues, adjustments, etc Must Have: Minimum Requirements 0 years of experience required Nice to Have Basic skills on the computer Background with CNC machinery, SPC, BPCS Skills with measuring tools such as : Micrometer, Calipers, Comparator, Gauge ...
