The West Chinden Family Medicine Clinic is now hiring for a personable and hard-working Medical Assistant or LPN!
Position Summary & Highlights:
- $1500 sign on bonus offered for this position to external MA candidates!
- This MA position will support a Family Medicine provider.
- You will also work with other MAs and RNs to support 5 other Providers in a great workplace culture.
- You will have the opportunity to use a variety of your MA skills and will see a variety of patients.
- West Chinden Family Medicine provides convenient care close to home for Eagle and Meridian residents.
What Will You Do:
- In addition to primary MA duties, you will also perform phlebotomy, administer immunizations, and prep injections.
- You will assist with minor procedures, complete POC and other tests, and also complete tasks and orders in the task inbox.
- An ideal candidate will also enjoy working in a fast-paced and strong team environment, have effective communication skills, is flexible, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working independently and on a team.
Work Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, 4 - 10 hour shifts, Monday - Friday, rotating day off based on providers schedules, around the hours of 7:00am - 5:30pm.
- Shift start and end time may vary based on provider and clinic needs.

MA Minimum Qualifications:
- High School DiploMA or equivalent required.
- MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
- American Medical Technologists (RMA)
- National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
LPN Minimum Qualifications:
- Colleague must have an LPN license, as defined by their primary work state (Idaho or Oregon), issued prior to hire date. Those colleagues hired before January 1, 2020 must provide licensure or proof of application in process in their secondary state by August 28, 2020. Individuals hired in this role after January 1, 2020, must provide licensure or proof of application in their secondary state by August 28, 2020 or within six months of hire, whichever date is later.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
- Experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.
