Hours: Full-time, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Role Overview: As a Loss Prevention Security team member, you will serve as the face of security for our hotel guests and staff during the overnight shift. Your primary responsibility will be to provide concierge security services, ensuring the safety and comfort of everyone on the premises while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist hotel guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Maintain a professional appearance in a suit and tie while performing security duties.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
• Conduct investigations, handle incidents discreetly, and report findings as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with hotel management to enhance security measures and guest experiences.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance in a suit and tie.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Active, non-expired Maryland State Police guard card is a plus.

Duties:
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Identify and apprehend individuals involved in theft or other criminal activities.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, gather evidence, and write detailed reports.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Implement Loss Prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risks.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and addressing their concerns.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential criminals.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and appropriately.
- Handle conflicts or difficult situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques.

Experience:
- Previous experience in Loss Prevention or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Loss Prevention techniques, surveillance systems, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with report writing and criminal investigation procedures.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Basic computer skills for operating surveillance equipment and writing reports.
