Juvenis Maxime, established in 2021, is an academy specializing in providing high-quality, practical, creative, and engaging career projects related to the Exploration, Orientation, and Development of an international career path for young individuals aspiring to succeed in their future careers. This program is tailored for middle school, high school and university students. The program will be launched and supervised by a team of foreign experts with extensive practical experience and a highly successful track record in their respective fields.
As such, we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Logistics Professional Mentor join our team as a guide to our mentee in exploration & developing their career including technical knowledge & skills in the industry. Your expertise and experience will help mentees navigate the complexities of the industry, make informed decisions, and achieve their professional goals.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be able, toward a group of 10 students:
- Provide personalized mentorship and career guidance to individuals interested in pursuing careers in logistics.
- Assist mentees in exploring diverse career paths within the logistics sector, including roles in supply chain management, transportation logistics, inventory control, distribution management, and procurement.
- Share your firsthand experiences and insights into different aspects of the logistics profession, including industry trends, best practices, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements.
- Help mentees identify and develop the essential skills required to excel in their chosen areas of specialization.
- Offer guidance on educational pathways, including relevant degree programs, professional certifications, licensure requirements.
- Provide feedback on mentees' technical reports to help them demonstrate their skills and competencies effectively.
- Support mentees in navigating job searches, securing internships or entry-level positions, and advancing their careers within the logistics field.
- Monitor mentees' progress, offer encouragement, and celebrate their achievements as they grow and develop as Logistics professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the logistics industry, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in roles such as logistics coordinator, supply chain analyst, transportation manager, or warehouse supervisor.
- Comprehensive knowledge of logistics principles, methodologies, and operational processes, with a commitment to staying updated on current trends and advancements in the field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and guide individuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to assist mentees in overcoming career-related challenges.
- Experience in working on a project at university or company is an advantage.
- Experience in mentoring or counseling students is an advantage.
- Empathy and a genuine commitment to the well-being and success of students
- Knowledge of Logistics systems, career pathways, and college admissions processes is an advantage.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Salary: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
