In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions located here
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 in the Federal Service. You must have at least one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-11), level, pay band (NH-02), or equivalent (pay schedule, pay bend etc). Specialized experience is described as experiene in logistics policy and procedures and acquisition support of complex Air Force systems and equipment as well as contracting procedures used to acquire technical data.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Knowledge of USAF-wide maintenance and material management.
2. Extensive knowledge of logistics policy and procedures in the acquisition and support of complex Air Force systems and equipment.
3. Complete and authoritative knowledge of contracting procedures used to acquire technical data.
4. Knowledge of AFSC and AFTC management and testing policy and philosophy, and aircraft and related test support requirements. Understanding of and the ability to direct development of training programs and resources.
5. Skill and ability to formulate short and long range logistics plans and acquisition and support strategies.
6. Extensive oral communicative skills required with the skill to articulate clearly, succinctly, and diplomatically on controversial matters as well as extensive written communicative skills.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
