Whythis role is special..
The Logistics Specialist will report to the Logistics Manager. This person will be responsible for arranging order processing for international and domestic shipments as well as spare parts delivery and retrieval. They will be responsible for invoice verification and review, as well as auditing shipping documents and AES filings. This is an on-site position based in San Jose, CA.
Howyou will be successful...
- Process order entries for shipment through SAP
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth delivery to customers
- Drive customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
- Work with installation engineers and overseas offices on import and export shipments
- Generate and distribute shipment reports
- Arrange return RMA logistics
- Maintain internal database
- Inventory management
- Manage time effectively to keep shipment schedules
- Assist in preparing orders for shipment
- Export documentation management and Audit AES filings
- Position is an in office position located in San Jose, CA
Whatyou will bring....
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience Logistics background preferred
- Experience in talking with internal and external customers
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
- Experience with arranging international and domestic transportation
- Knowledge of Incoterms
- Knowledge of legal export requirements and shipping document preparation
- Must be punctual and detail-oriented
- Good time management
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions as necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively
