Job Description
Prefer minimum 2 year degree in Purchasing/Logistics or equivalent work experience
Prefer strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
Ability to plan – determine priorities and effectively schedule work and to function in an organized manner that addresses critical issues and are supported by an effective plan
Ability to delegate – effectively use subordinate’s skills; clearly define and follow-up on delegated responsibilities
Ability to lead – bring out cooperation, initiative and performance from subordinates and associates

Computer skills or ability to learn
Negotiation skills or ability to learn
Records and maintains control of all inventory items produced and purchased.
Monitors delivered raw materials and purchased parts to insure that they comply with purchase order and specifications and resolve issues regarding price, quality, delivery and invoicing
Monitors delivery dates and commitments. Expedite rush or late deliveries from foundries and suppliers.
Responsible for ensuring the preparation and scheduling of outgoing and incoming shipments, including all necessary paperwork, which includes but is not limited to, bill of lading, customs paperwork is performed.
Responsible for preparing the daily and year end paperwork, which includes but is not limited to, bar code label, inventory counts, certification of origin, vendor surveys
Responsible for purchasing and maintaining inventory levels of shipping and packaging supplies, which includes but is not limited to, cartons, paperwork, tape
Responsible for negotiating delivery prices with trucking firms
Responsible for back-up to DDL requirements related to shipping functions
Participate in preventive actions where appropriate. Conduct corrective actions and perform problem solving analysis and reporting as required
Participate as requested in needs analysis and attend and perform the requirements of scheduled training and educational programs identified for his/her position
Responsible for knowledge and implementation of company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, reviews, disciplinary action
Create a culture of open communication, trust, continuous improvement and performance with internal and external customers
Responsible for quality procedures that affect this work area
Perform other related duties as deemed necessary or assigned
