What You'll Do:
As a Loan Coordinator, you will serve as the main contact throughout the loan process, managing communication between clients, brokers, and the company. Your responsibilities include setting timelines, coordinating with various parties, collecting necessary documents, conducting due diligence searches, and engaging third-party reports to ensure a seamless closing process. Additionally, you will engage with preliminary title reports and ensure compliance with the Credit and Closing Checklist in the company's loan operating system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the loan process as the primary point of contact from the initiation to closing and perform as a liaison between the customer and the Company.
- Set timelines to clients, brokers and other parties involved in the loan transaction to ensure a smooth closing process
- Correspond with clients, escrow/title and insurance companies to collect required items and coordinate closing
- Collect, review and upload all items listed on the Credit and Closing Checklist to Company's loan operating system
- Engage preliminary title reports
- Conduct due diligence searches on borrower/guarantor/business. This includes, but not limited to ordering lien searches, credit reports, background checks and IRS tax transcripts
- Engage 3rd party reports such as appraisal reports, environmental assessment reports, business valuations, and site inspections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SBA loan process
- Understanding and knowledge of SBA eligibility and guideline
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the aptitude to learn new software and systems to onboard and process loans
- Team-oriented mindset
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
Compensation:
- $60,000-$80,000/year depending on experience
