WAREHOUSE DRY SUPPLY
RECEIVING TRUCKER LABOR GRADE: 4
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position includes but not limited to loading and unloading trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements.
- Must check incoming loads and write a receiving slip on them.
- Place all supplies in proper storage areas.
- When needed, help unload new equipment and move equipment through plant.
- Take supplies to production areas.
- Print labels as needed.
- Do general cleanup in warehouse areas.
- Take and keep track of inventory.
- Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
- Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
- Must be able to obtain a Class II power life operator license.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid hand and eye coordination to move product on a conveyor and/or other processing equipment.
- Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently (10 flexion/minute).
- Must be able to lift and carry from arm and shoulder up to 20#, frequently (at times 5reps or more /min.
- Must be able to frequently life/lower/carry up to 20 pounds with back and legs. (over 5 reps/min)
- Must be able to constantly stand/stoop/walk/bend, up to 10 hrs.
- Occasional climbing of stairs several times per hour when required.
- Ability to work in wet and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
- Able to complete all paperwork and SAP functions as required for position.
