Licensed Practical Nurse Lpn

Our client is currently seeking a LPN with pediatrics experience for a minimum 3 month contract in Pottstown, PA

The Licensed Practical Nurse performs routine nursing care of the ill, injured or infirm under the direction of a licensed professional (RN) nurse, nurse practitioner and/or a physician. The LPN participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with in the scope of the LPN as defined by the State Board of Nursing and health system standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active PA LPN license CPR Certification issued through an organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Minimum two (2) years’ primary care experience
• Pediatric experience.
• Basic computer use of Microsoft Office and EMR systems
• Basic use of patient facing technology. (e.g. IV pumps, point of care devices, CR monitors).
