- Assist Providers by performing psych evaluations of patients to determine stability for treatment
- Assess patient mental health through interviews and review of patient chart while educating patients on overall wellness, health maintenance, and suitability for surgical treatments
- Collaborate with Providers for best course of medical treatment for all SSJC patients
- Follow all compliant protocols and attention to details related to patient care and management
- Comfortable working in a growing, dynamic organization and able to navigate change
- Maintain a safe clean work environment as well as perform other duties as assigned
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Strong interpersonal skills when working with patients
- Strong written communication skills
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD.10 coding, and medical pre-certification and prior authorization protocols
- Active LCSW license to practice in the state of GA
- Masters in Social Work from an accredited Institution
- Self-motivated with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Personable and confident while providing exceptional patient care.
- Previous experience in pain management or other medical fields (preferred)
