Learning And Development Partner

This is a leadership role on the Learning and Development team that requires cross-functional partnership to create and scale development opportunities that help employees do the best work of their careers and drive a high performing organization. You'll need to be innovative and passionate about developing people, and think systematically about how learning strategies support critical moments throughout the talent lifecycle.

You should have proven experience managing a team, delivering global learning solutions at scale, shaping a comprehensive roadmap, working with all levels of employees, and measuring the impact of talent development initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Lead a dynamic team of learning professionals responsible for global onboarding, employee development, leadership development, and team effectiveness.
• Create a coherent, strategic approach to developing the skills, experiences, and knowledge that our employees and managers need now and in the future - based on our company strategy and short, mid and long term goals.
• Partner with business leaders, Inclusion & Diversity, Talent Management, HRBPs and across the People Team to understand learning and development needs at Pinterest.
• Identify and manage vendors that can help design and deliver training and development.
• Use a range of L&D capabilities including needs assessment, program management, instructional design, and facilitation.
• Create a learning environment that goes beyond regular classroom training, and embraces a range of mediums, connecting and upleveling our people and driving learning and career growth into the business and culture.
• Work with your L&D peers to deliver on a cohesive roadmap for L&D broadly.

What we're looking for:

• Extensive experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development.
• Strong people management experience - with a track record of developing talent and supporting career growth.
• Proven experience building scalable, global learning offerings for a variety of audiences (employees, managers, senior leaders, teams).
• Experience designing and delivering on a learning and development strategy that aligns with a broader People team strategy and priorities of the business.
• Influential at all levels, with strong stakeholder management and experience partnering with different parts of the People team and Business teams.
• End-to-end program management skills from needs assessment, design, development, and facilitation.
• Experience building career development, leadership development, inclusion & diversity, and team effectiveness programs at scale for a global organization.
