JOB SUMMARY:

The SAP FICO Architect/Senior Analyst will provide subject matter expertise in the Finance and Controlling area of SAP. This individual will be responsible for ongoing development and support of the SAP application. Throughout the SAP implementation project, this person will work in partnership with the implementation partner and will take ownership for ongoing support and build for SAP Finance and Controlling, as well as integration with other SAP modules like Production Planning, Materials Management, and Sales & Distribution. The successful candidate will leverage their deep understanding of Finance/Accounting business processes and SAP FICO functional/configuration skills to consult, recommend and implement solutions for our business customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate and prioritize Finance team SAP needs
• IT functional owner for SAP FICO
• Interact with 3rd party vendors associated with SAP support (OpenText, JP Morgan Chase, etc)
• Partner with business leaders to understand key requirements and lead development of SAP Finance solutions
• Provide overall subject matter expertise for this area of the business and SAP
• Provide leadership to limit system customizations
• Partnership with development resources to create and maintain RICEF objects, as appropriate, including partnering with business resources to create functional specifications.
• Partnership with Infrastructure team, as needed
• Functional leadership and specification creation for security roles

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide functional support for training and development of business resources

AUTHORITY:

All personnel are responsible for quality and therefore have the authority to stop production, if necessary to correct quality problems.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Significant experience with SAP configuration in FICO, including integration points across PP, MM, and SD areas. S/4 HANA experience is a plus.

• SAP Finance/Controlling business process solution expert
  • AP/AR business process and configuration

• Deep knowledge of upstream and downstream master data impacts
• Strong project management skills on multiple SAP implementation projects
• Ability to identify and prioritize business needs as well as interpret and manage requirements

• Implement company template SAP processes as well as provide end user production support
• Able to work with “off-shore” teams as needed to complete development work

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:

At least eight years of relevant work experience as an SAP subject matter expert in FICO or other modules

Key roles in multiple SAP implementations and production support

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related area highly desired.

LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must be willing to travel to various locations 1x per month. Trips are planned and typically flexible on timing. Higher levels of travel during certain phases of project and rollout may be required and will also typically have advance planning.
