Lead Fashion Stylist / Assistant Manager

As the Lead Fashion Stylist/Assistant Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to helping receive shipments and prepare them for sale, pose for and assist the owner in creating social media posts, styling our clientele, training employees in sales and product knowledge, maintaining lasting customer relationships and helping keep our boutique looking breathtaking at all times.

Apricot Lane’s Lead Fashion Stylist/Assistant Manager will be responsible for meeting and exceeding all given sales goals. They must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be adaptive to change, have a desire to learn and grow within the position and be an effective problem solver. This role does have opportunity for future advancement.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Understanding of retail sales with the ability to communicate needs directly to the owner
* Maintain a visually impressive and clean store
* Proficient in Facebook and Instagram
* Self-motivated and works well with others
* Ability to train and motivate others to sell and increase their sales figures through product knowledge and sales building techniques
* Some Saturdays and occassional evenings required (Store hours are Mon-Sat, 10am-6pm) Closed most holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS

* College graduate with Fashion Merchandising and/or Sales/Marketing degree or 2+ years Retail Sales Experience in the Fashion industry

* Demonstrated leadership, integrity and trustworthiness
* Strong merchandising and visual skills, strong attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proactive and creative problem-solving ability
* Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel as well as web-based programs
* Flexibility, adaptability and ability to work some weekends and occasional evenings
** Marketing, Social Media and photography skills highly preferred

This position will be paid based on experience, $15-$18/hr. It offers paid time off and an attractive employee discount in a fun, flexible environment.
