Job Responsibilities (High-level)
The Lead Caregiver / Scheduler is responsible for 1) Assisting with the start-up of new cases, 2) Assisting in managing client care plans and providing these services, 3) Assisting with coaching and training of caregiving staff, 4) Participating in our on-call program, and 5) Assisting with administrative duties in the office (i.e. recruiting, scheduling, client & employee files, etc). Must be able to build relationships and rapport with other staff and clients.
Preferred Candidates have:
- Being a CNA is not a requirement. If you are, that is great and we would love that! If not, we can get you into classes to become a CNA.
- Must possess effective communications skills
- Comfortable with technology including computer software, emails, and texts
- Customer service experience will be helpful in dealing with clients and caregivers
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle stress well
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Good work ethic
- Supervisory experience including employee counseling
- Must be well organized
- Level 2 Background Check
- At least one year of work-related experience
- Must be able to provide work references
- For Personal Care clients, evidence of Home Health Aide training or current Florida CNA license or ability to pass Home Health Aide test (written and practical)
- At least 18 years of age
- Proof of residence in the United States
- Current CPR card is required
- Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance & dependable vehicle
