Palm Beach Shores Resort is looking for candidates for the following position:
HOUSEKEEPING LAUNDRY WORKER PM/second shift
General Purpose of the Job
To processes large amounts of laundry by delivering and picking it up, and separating, washing, drying, folding, and distributing.
Essential duties and responsibilities.
· Cleaning lint compartment twice daily.
· Clean and maintain work areas.
· Sort dirty linens.
· Load, use and unload washers & dryers.
· Iron linens using a mechanical flatwork ironer.
· Fold linens & iron laundry by hand.
· Get enough linen for housemen and housekeeping carts.
· Provide towel service to Pool area.
· Uses all chemicals, prepare labels and fill out room attendants’ bottles for the next shift and tools according to the instructions provided to prevent injury, accident, unnecessary damage or waste.
· Conducts inventories to identify items for replacement or addition.
· Examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness.
· May perform other duties by cleaning, dusting and taking out the trash.
· Deep clean lobby restrooms and pool restrooms.
· Deep clean and disinfect Gym.
· Stock and prepare Room attendant carts, and closets with linen, papers and supplies to ensure the operation running smooth in the morning shift.
· Clean entrance glass doors, tables, wooden blinds and trash cans located at the Timeshare area.
· Clean tables and chairs by pool deck
· Clean coffee maker, make coffee in breakroom.
· Clean Beach Buddies Kids Club bathroom and and remove trash and clean bathroom at Administration office.
· Check and clean break room.
· Sweep and mop laundry room and employee hallway.
· Answer Guest and MOD request and take care of code one disinfesting and cleaning if necessary.
- Pick up trash around the pool and organize chairs outside and in the time share patio
