Landscape Construction Foreman

Ponderosa Landscaping has been designing, constructing and maintaining the Lower and Outer Cape landscape since 1979. Our philosophy of customer care through thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and attention to detail has earned us a reputation for excellence. We are currently seeking self-motivated, hardworking individuals for our dedicated team, who enjoy working outdoors on beautiful residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Construction Foreman position is year-round, full-time or part-time and offers a $1,000 hiring bonus.

Job Duties & Requirements

• Previous experience in landscaping, construction or hardscape work
• Maintain high standard of quality work in a performance driven environment; ability to work independently at times
• Ability to follow good safety practices and adhere to company code of ethics and procedures; willingness to work in all types of weather
• An eye for detail and taking pride in a job well done; production driven
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and our clients in a professional manner; dedication to putting the customer first
• Perennial and annual planting care and knowledge; experience with lawn care management practices; knowledge of hard and softscape construction

Qualifications

• Manager and supervisor experience required (2-5 years) for foreman positions; demonstrate strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
• Good physical condition, strong work ethic, commitment to excellence
• Work authorization required; High School or equivalent preferred
• Landscape maintenance or construction experience (2 years required)
