Job Description
One of our clients has a brand-new opportunity for a Level 2 Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in the Fallston, MD area. Our client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic, hard-working, and customer service-oriented Technician. This role will include unparalleled technical support for an automotive dealership client, allowing them to experience the best support available within the industry.
Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service interfacing with high-profile client executives onsite
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Provide excellent time management and reporting skills
- Be familiar with various operating systems (e.g. - Windows OS, OSX)
- Manage triage, troubleshooting, and resolution to client scope on IT equipment
- Occasionally works at heights of 20' to 25', lift equipment training provided
- Document efforts, issues, and resolutions, and close cases / tickets daily
- Provide and utilize insight into POS, PC, printers, thin clients, client, servers, network switch equipment
- Tracking / monitoring issues, providing notes / feedback, etc.
- Complete all assigned projects and tasks
Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 to 2+ years of IT support work experience
- A+ Certification
- Can become A+ Certified during the project on own time
- OEM Certifications (Dell, Lenovo, etc.) preferred
- Apple / Mac experience required
- Imaging from Network and USB
- Laptop / desktop / printer hardware and software support experience
- Ticketing software experience
- ServiceNow experience preferred
- Relatable and responsible when interacting with all customers – able to build relationships easily
- Ability to have an educational approach to solving issues
- Able to transform technical IT solutions lingo into terms everyone understands
- Desire for knowledge, independence, and success
- Not intimidated by new or complex problems
- Excellent time-management skills
