LT Industries is seeking a Buyer Planner for our Chatsworth, CA location
As the Buyer Planner, you will be planning, scheduling, releasing and management of production work orders and outside processing purchase orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Use your understanding of manufacturing and production to release, print and handle work orders and purchase orders in accordance with customer demand
Collaborate with manufacturing to prioritize, expedite or reschedule work orders based on material availability, work center resources and capacity, and customer demand requirements.
Coordinate and communicate requirements with Procurement to ensure that raw materials are purchased or expedited in the appropriate quantities and timeframe to meet production needs,
Qualifications:
Minimum education High School Diploma or equivalent general education.
1-3 years experience in buying or planning.
Understanding of material planning and purchasing fundamentals and manufacturing processes
Ability to work productively on your own or in collaboration to find solutions, think critically and find solutions to problems
Computer proficiency in Excel is a must, with experience in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
