Java / J2Ee Developer

The Opportunity: We are seeking a Java / J2EE Developer for a long-term contract position in Phoenix, AZ

• Role: Java / J2EE Developer
• Experience: 6-9 years
• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Duration: 12+ months

Qualifications:

• Successful engineering and deployment of enterprise-grade technology products in an Agile environment
• Large scale software product engineering experience with contemporary tools and delivery methods in a complex environment (i.e. DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, etc.)
• Hands-on delivery experience in the in-memory frameworks and fundamental components of the assigned portfolios primary technology stack(s) (some of them include Java/J2EE, Big Data Technologies, Apache Flink, Apache Spark, SingleStore, No-SQL Databases, Relational Databases, JSON, XML, and REST)
• Hands-on delivery experience in the high-performance enterprise grade APIs and microservices.
• Creation of tools or other technologies that become integral to the operation of the platform
• Successful assimilation of new technology into an existing technology stack
• Outstanding influential and collaboration skills; ability to drive consensus and tangible outcomes, demonstrated by breaking down silos and fostering cross communication process
• Previous experience with Java; J2EE; ETL - Big Data / Data Warehousing; Spring Boot; Spring; Jenkins; RDBMS; NoSQL; PoweMockito; Mockito; JUnit; Apache Flink/Storm/Beam

Desired Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or has equivalent work experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams

Hourly contracting rate is anticipated to be between $50-65/hr 1099. The compensation range reflects the Company's reasonable expectations at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.
