We are seeking a Building Supervisor to join the American Cleaning team in Boise, ID! The Building Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facility, ensuring that all areas are clean and organized. The successful candidate will manage a team of cleaning staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are achieved, while also making sure all customer needs are met. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, be highly organized and motivated, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
•Train on cleaning and safety process.
•Instruct staff in work policies, procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment.
•Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
•Investigate complaints about service and equipment and take corrective action.
•Evaluate employee performance and recommend personnel actions such as retraining, promotions, and dismissals.
•Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency.
•Perform or assist with cleaning duties.
•Check equipment to ensure that it is in working order.
•Issue supplies and equipment to workers and buildings.
•Inventory stock to ensure that consumables, supplies, and equipment are available in adequate amounts and ordered on time.
•Recommend or arrange for additional services (hard floor cleaning, carpet cleaning, employee training).
•Maintain required records for work hours, vacation, budgets, payroll, and employee documentation.
Communication:
•Respond to emails received and provide a nightly pass down for maintenance needs, burnt-out lights, and broken fixtures.
•Respond to and close OrangeQC tickets.
•Send nightly shift reports to the area manager and director of operations.
Qualifications
•Must have a valid driver's license.
•Must be able to pass a background check.
•This is a swing shift normally starting at 5:00 pm, you must be flexible and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
•Must dress and present themselves professionally.
•Strong communication skills.
