Position Name: ITAR Compliance Officer/Security Specialist
Description: The ROAR JV is hiring a Facility Security Specialist and ITAR/EAR compliance officer to support NASA’s Office of Communications and Office of the Chief Information Officer contractor personnel.
The candidate will work on site supporting the local staff with export control reviews and compliance with the International Traffic in ARMS Regulations (ITAR) as they relate to NASA communication and information products produced on the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract.
The candidate will support security compliance, access control badging and related tasks for onboarding/offboarding employees.
ROAR JV is a joint venture between Rothe Development Inc. and ARES Corporation.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have understanding of federal International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
- Experience performing the duties of a facility security specialist including badging, on-boarding, and policy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
