It Technician (Remote)

This organization supports small to mid-size businesses with their technical and consultative approach. Keeping clients abreast of new technologies, along with helping them get the most out of their current tools and systems is where this organization's steps in and partners for the long-haul with their clients. Their mission is to help businesses who might need a full-scale IT department, but are not able to support the internal employees needed to fulfill this need – they are there to fill the gap and execute on their client's needs.

This role is responsible for a high level of engagement with clients. Responsible for being on different clients sites multiple days a week, supporting basic technical issues up to helping implement a completely new system to their platform. Clients are within a wide range of industries, which requires this person to be dynamic in their communications. You could be working with a CEO or CFO of a company supporting their technology issues, or working with a lower level employee that is having issues.

Position Responsibilities:

• Strong communication skills, proven to interact with individuals at multiple levels within an organization
• Provide Customer Support, relating to hardware installations, maintenance issues, software installations & upgrades
• Strong ability to evaluate and diagnose technical issues and errors, quickly determine and implement proper solutions
• Generate service tickets in a timely manner, specific to company processes and guidelines
• Collaborate with account team and execute on implementations at client sites
• Responsible for documentation related to client site updates and billing for a company processing
• Interact daily with others on the technical team, to collaborate share and support across the organization
• Ability to be opened-minded and willing to take on new tasks, identified and laid out by management

Experience and Skills:

• Degree in Technology or related work history
• Strong understanding and experience utilizing Networking Technologies & Tools
• Experience with Windows 8 and/or 10, understanding and being able to troubleshoot issues
• Certifications CompTIA A+/ CCNA
• Involvement in Software & Hardware installs, related to Microsoft Office, Antivirus solutions, Mac OS and Windows OS updates
• Punctuality related to client interaction, as well as internal updates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
