The selected candidate will be responsible for performing Tier 2 installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support on IT Systems and related peripheral hardware. Qualified candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team that is dedicated to high performance; focused on the support and maintenance of real-time IT Systems and other hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 2 break/fix hardware support for program supported real-time IT Systems on an Operations and Maintenance contract
Screen, refer, and diagnose internal incidents and work requests as they relate to maintenance of IT Systems hardware. Provide timely updates, tracking and referral, follow-up, and resolution entries in the Incident Tracking Resource
Install, configure, upgrade, and de-install IT Systems hardware
Coordinate with system integrators, maintainers, and end users to ensure timely completion of tasks
Security Clearance:
Active and in-scope U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with C.I. polygraph
Required Skills:
UNIX and Windows Hardware support:
Screens, refers and diagnoses internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers and related systems
IT Systems and peripheral hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support experience
Provides end-user software troubleshooting and support
Coordinates development of deliverables and products
Participates in the administration of e-mail systems
Coordinates development of deliverables and products
Must be able to track project studies, plans, and action items
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
Participates in special projects as required
Ability and willingness to work in confined spaces, under floor, and above ceiling as required
Team player that is willing to provide support to a variety of tasks and to support high priority customer activities
Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
Active and in-scope U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with C.I. polygraph
Desired Qualifications:
1+ years of directly related experience supporting information systems operations
Understanding of remote VoIP administration
Experience with conferencing system configuration and installation
Familiarity with telephone testing and installation equipment
Experience working in a customer environment
Experience fabricating and installing CAT5/CAT6, copper, and fiber optic cables
Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher). IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND
Education and Experience Requirements:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience; or 9 years of relevant experience; or related *Military technical certification credits and relevant experience (*military personnel who have been formally trained or have relevant experience obtained while in service versus civilian training).

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
