STV is currently seeking anITDesktop Support Intern within our Information Technology department. This is a part-time position (20hrs/week), based in our Douglassville, PA office location.
As part of your internship, you will have the opportunity to work side by side with knowledgeable IT professionals, gaining practical knowledge, skills, and an understanding of IT's role in supporting many of our company's goals and projects within the AEC industry. This position will provide hands on experience in the areas of desktop support, computer imaging, Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory management, software deployments, and other areas as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
- Imaging and setup of company laptops and desktops
- Loading software via SCCM
- Basic PC and network troubleshooting
- Use our IT systems management platform to log and complete support requests, incidents, and properly maintain IT asset inventory
Internship Takeaways:
- An understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques, managing situations, and customer interaction skills that could impact the productivity of systems and co-workers.
- Leverage various knowledgebase and technical resources to solve technical problems.

Required Experience:
- Must be actively enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program at an accredited university with a related information technology major. At least 2 years of completed coursework is preferred.
- Basic understanding of the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of a wide variety of Desktop PC's, laptops, and peripherals printers / multifunction copiers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. of equipment.
