Position Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for driving technology forward and evolving Agile maturity and culture through effective coaching and support and ensuring accurate scrum processes are followed. As Scrum Master, you serve as a member of an agile team designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology changes in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for helping carry out critical technology solutions across multiple areas within various business functions in support of GreenState's business objectives.

Salary range for this position is $79,173.90 - $105,966.64/YR with a progressive benefit package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are
not limited to those listed and are subject to change.
1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.
2. Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
4. Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or Credit Union sponsored events on an annual basis.
5. Ensures confidentiality of member information and supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
6. Adheres to all state, federal and credit union regulations, policies, and guidelines.
7. Hosts scrum ceremonies for multiple scrum teams and works to keep the team collaborated by ensuring scrum artifacts are in good order at all times (including the product and sprint backlogs).
8. Conducts detailed analysis of team performance through retrospectives and other key metrics reporting such as velocity and production support analytics.
9. Collaborates directly with product owner and BSA to understand priority and assist with managing the product backlog.
10. Manage project implementations throughout the entire roadmap lifecycle.
11. Ability to shield the squad from outside distractions, limit scope creep and work to remove squad impediments or roadblocks.
12. Act as the point of escalation for risks, issues, and dependencies, ensure action items are clearly defined, assigned to owners, and driven to resolution in a timely manner.
13. Engage with leadership, partners, and collaborators frequently on the status of key initiatives with respect to scope, schedule, cost, and resources.
14. Responsible for facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, such as Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospectives.
15. Act as Servant Leader. Drives team discussion & collaboration, coaching agile principles and the continuous improvement mindset.
16. Ensures sprint releases stay on track and updates sprint activities in agile planning and execution tracking tool.
17. Coaches the team to own and continually improve their process and practices. Driving teams to improve agility practices and become more self-organizing.
Job Requirements/Expectations
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
2. Understanding of the full software development life cycle in an AGILE development team is required.
3. 3+ years Scrum Master experience.
4. Experience working with distributed teams.
5. Scrum Master Certification required.
6. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent highly desired.
7. Expert skills in Microsoft Office Suite required.
8. Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, or other work item tracking tool required.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Knowledge of financial services a plus.
11. Familiarity with risk management, strategic planning, or scenario planning concepts
12. Willingness to work flexible hours to accomplish workload. During periods of peak demand and at other times, job will require a non-traditional workweek with extra hours including evening and/or weekend duties.
13. Extensive expertise with Agile and Scrum frameworks and their application in Product Development and delivery organization
14. Strong familiarity and adherence to core Agile values and principles.
15. Scrum Master Certification (CSM, A-CSM, PSM, SSM) highly desired.
16. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent highly desired.
17. Must be bondable.
Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the IT Director of Analysis & Administration.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is not responsible for the supervision of other employees.
