Here's a summary of responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Project Management, the IT Project Analyst will be responsible for driving and delivering quality technology services, systems, and solutions for business owners across the USOPC. The Analyst will improve business value with the effective use of technology, strive to create order, and work with diverse stakeholders to provide an optimal technology environment to enable the USOPC to accomplish its mission.

Here's how you'll have an impact:

  • Manage technology projects that encompass diverse themes such as customer relationship management (CRM), business applications, telephony, network operations, system operations, and cyber security.
  • Perform all phases of project management cycle (Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor & Control, Close) for assigned or identified projects within the division.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminated to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Identify key stakeholders and project constraints to ensure a shared understanding of the project outcomes.
  • Identify and manage risks, understand project work breakdown structure, and define project schedule by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements.
  • Manage communication plan to make certain project stakeholders, roles, responsibilities, dependencies, milestones, and timelines are clear and understood by project stakeholders.
  • Engage stakeholders through consistent and shared accountability all through project execution.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, managing change, and providing transparent communication.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential critical challenges, and devise contingency plans to overcome project obstacles and risks.
  • See project through closure with measurements of success, retrospective / lessons learned and hand off to operational support.
  • Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts as liaisons between internal business partners and software development team.


Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably technology-related) or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of technology project management experience
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience applying Agile approaches to project management
  • Experience managing CRM systems projects (MS CRM Dynamics or Salesforce) desirable
  • Proficient in managing project plans with Microsoft Project

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) desirable
  • Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) or Certified SCRUM Product Owner (CSPO) desirable


Here's where you'll work:

  • This is a hybrid role that will regularly work from both our Colorado Springs Downtown Headquarters and remotely.


Here's some more information you need to know:

  • Hiring Pay Range: $64,326 to $81,694
  • This is a full-time, exempt, position intended to work 40 hours per week.
  • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program at a 10% target. This program is subject to change or elimination by the USOPC at any time at its sole discretion.
