OVERVIEW
The Enterprise Applications Intern will provide support for internal modern workplace, collaboration, finance, HR, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Workplace flexibility has taken on a whole new meaning here at Urban Science. The requirements of each team, role and employee can look quite different. Leaders work with their teams to determine the right balance for working in-person and remotely, considering the needs of the business, our clients, cross-functional projects, individual work, and individual preference. This role has current Hybrid Workplace flexibility local to our Detroit, Michigan office location. Candidate must be available and willing to work in-person twice per month.
The person selected for this position will work up to 20 hours per week during the current school semester (January - April). Then 40 hours per week during the Summer 2024 internship program (May - August).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support for the Microsoft 365 cloud platform, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce CRM system, Dynamics 365 ERP system and related applications.
- Participate in Enterprise Application projects and initiatives, across our suite of supported solutions
- Maintain process documentation, templates, and tools.
- Operate IT service management system to maintain assigned tickets to facilitate proper ticket flow and accurate data in reporting.
Qualifications - Education and Experience

- Preferred basic knowledge of personal computers, servers and networks.
- Able to perform limited troubleshooting of IT Ops technologies and services.
- Basic knowledge of current technological developments/trends in IT Operations.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Requires ability to:
- Understand a situation by breaking it apart into smaller pieces, and/or tracing the implications of a situation in a step-by-step causal way.
- Create and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and/or customers. Work cooperatively with others and be part of a team.
- Develop business awareness and understanding of the business requirements of IT.
- Behave in a trustworthy and transparent manner.
- Monitor and check work deliverables ensuring high quality, accuracy and having a strong attention to detail.
- Compose and verbally deliver information of varying levels. Communicate ideas, facts and data in writing.
- Prioritize competing demands, manage multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrate exposure to Enterprise Application technologies in an internship, collegiate, or Capstone project.
- Currently pursuing a Baccalaureate degree in an appropriate IT field such as Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science from an accredited U.S. college or university, equivalent foreign institution, or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft certifications are a plus.
