As an iOS Field Diagnostics Architect, you will be the end-to-end owner of all technical aspects for the design, qualification and implementation of hardware diagnostic tools used during field service events. Responsibilities include definition and design of new diagnostic tools based on customer requirements, device architecture, and diagnostics system/platform, as well as development of diagnostic qualification plans that account for design, field risk, and diagnostic performance across service channels.

Familiarity with server-client design principles and considerations, ensuring effective integration and communication between diagnostic systems and components.
Excellent verbal skills across various organizational levels. Ability and strong willingness to engage team members one-on-one or as a group to foster dialogue of ideas.

As the iOS Field Diagnostics Architect, you will lead cross-functional teams during the development cycle to define, design, and qualify diagnostic tests to ensure successful rollouts. This role requires strong communication, persuasion and negotiation skills, in addition to becoming comfortable with working through ambiguities. Responsibilities include:
Engage with customers to gather requirements and understand their diagnostic needs, and translate them into technical requirements for diagnostic solutions. Document requirements and conduct playbacks to customers to ensure accuracy.
Engage with product development teams to understand the product feature architecture and establish the diagnostic design and testing parameters.
Propose a field diagnostic design proposal based on customer needs and product architecture.
Identify cross-functional teams required for design refinement, development, qualification, and implementation. Work with the TPM to engage cross-functional teams and identify responsible individuals for each action item and deliverable during the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with Diagnostic Designers to define the end-to-end diagnostic flow, ensuring a seamless and efficient diagnostic process.
Work closely with Diagnostic Solutions Architect to identify and define key system integrations required to support diagnostic functionality and facilitate successful deployment.
Detail the diagnostic design and conduct playbacks to customers. Communicate any deviations from the agreed design to customers and leadership for approval.
Ensure diagnostic quality and performance by collaborating with the QA team to develop and sign-off qualification plans that challenge the diagnostic design and field use cases.
Define diagnostic test plans, pilot strategies, release strategies, and field performance management in collaboration with the cross-functional team.
Coordinate diagnostic demo sessions and team syncs, including leadership, in collaboration with the TPM.
