We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Operations Specialist. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient functioning of our factory operations and the management of inventory processes. The position involves a range of responsibilities, from preparing factory orders to analyzing data and overseeing the receipt of incoming containers. This is a position with evolving responsibilities, particularly during peak direct consumer seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
.Factory Order Preparation:
•Coordinate and prepare factory orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
•Work closely with CFO to optimize order processing.
.Data Analysis:
•Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data related to inventory levels, sales volume, and SKU management.
•Generate insights and reports to support decision-making processes.
.Container Management:
•Oversee the receipt and processing of all incoming containers.
•Ensure accurate recording of container contents and coordinate with relevant teams for efficient handling.
.Inventory Optimization:
•During direct consumer seasons, analyze inventory levels and manage stock-keeping units (SKUs).
.Warehouse Operations:
•Facilitate the movement of products between warehouses as needed.
•Monitor inventory levels and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
•Lead and coordinate regular physical inventory counts and observations.
.Reconciliation:
•Conduct detailed reconciliations between physical inventory counts and General Ledger records.
•Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
.Adaptability:
•Recognize that the role may evolve over time and be open to taking on new responsibilities as needed.
Benefits
• Medical and Dental benefits starting the beginning of the first calendar month after date of employment. The Company would cover 75% of the employee coverage and 50% of dependent coverage on our Silver Plan, with the remaining 25% and/or 50% any dependent coverage to be paid by the employee.
• Vacation benefits starting after the first full year of employment and are pro-rated if awarded mid-year. Once eligible, vacation is vested in full at the beginning of each calendar year, and must be used by the end of each calendar year. Vacation benefits increase based on years of service based on the following general schedule:
• After 1 Year of Service = 80 Vacation Hours
• After 5 Years of Service = 120 Vacation Hours
• After 10 Years of Service = 160 Vacation Hours
• Sick benefits in accordance with Washington State Law which equates to 1 hour for every 40 hours worked. You would be eligible to take this benefit after 90 full days of employment.
• Eligibility to participate in our Company’s Safe Harbor 401K begins the beginning of the quarter following 6 months of employment or 1080 hours worked. The Safe Harbor plan has a 4% company match, and both the employee and employer contributions are immediately vested.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field desired
•Proven experience in inventory management and operations.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
