Red Lion Controls has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist. A successful candidate will establish and support an inventory strategy with metrics to support and measure progress amid establishing partnerships with Operation colleagues to monitor, control, and reduce inventory levels. Ensuring inventory accuracy through cycle counts, this position will work with key stakeholders to maintain 100% accuracy as a key performance indicator.
Red Lion as an organization has embraced Lean as an operating philosophy and thus will look to this position to assist and implement recommended changes to processes around inventory and related transactions.
Key Job Functions
- Responsible to lead and or participate in activities related to our inventory and material.
- Provide leadership, guidance, mentorship, and training to associates around inventory processes.
- Facilitate daily cycle count schedule as defined to be 100% current.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by working with key stakeholders.
- Responsible for floor stock adjustments as needed.
- Analyze warehouse space management, utilizing IFS to efficiently move materials through locations to support the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree (preferred but not required).
- 2+ years of logistics, warehouse, or supply chain experience preferred.
- Experience with an ERP system (IFS would be ideal, but not required).
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Familiarity with MS programs such as outlook and excel.
- Organizational skills with ability to set priorities.
