POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Inventory Control and Receiving Specialist is responsible for the receipt, maintenance and accuracy of all inventories and related records. The Inventory Control and Receiving Specialist is responsible to support the development, management and execution of processes and procedures to deliver operational excellence. The Inventory Control and Receiving Specialist is responsible promoting safety, quality, and compliance at all times.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains integrity of the physical inventory.
2. Optimizes inventory locations based on velocity.
3. Maintains inventory accuracy within budget.
4. Manages cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy.
5. Identifies and resolves inventory variances through strong investigative skills.
6. Executes inventory transfers and reassigns active locations.
7. Identifies and initiates movement of product between operations warehouse locations as needed.
8. Ensures all inventory control and receiving processes are executed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
9. Ensures compliance with expiration, short date and shelf-life policies and proper storage of inventory.
10. Supports compliance with all SOPs, safety rules, and applicable regulations.
11. Effectively manages return goods and product destruction processes.
12. Establishes and maintains positive and cooperative cross-functional relationships.
13. Motivates and supports the performance, activities and responsibilities of all Inventory Control and Receiving associates.
14. Understands and performs duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matters; recognizes, reports, and appropriately responds to hazards in the work area and maintains proper housekeeping at all times.
15. Makes a positive contribution by having a positive attitude and by creating and implementing solutions for operational excellence.
16. All other duties as assigned by management to ensure the success of Letco Medical.

1. Experience and Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or industry equivalent experience preferred; minimum of three (3) years of progressive responsibility in inventory control or warehousing/distribution experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry a plus.
2. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and effectively respond to the data. Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
3. Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and apply the concepts to practical situations.
4. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
5. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should intermediate to strong experience with ERP systems and be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
