The expected compensation range for this position is $70,563 - $86,244, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.). The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an Inventory Analyst Inventory Control you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Lead and support the St. Paul Distribution Center through supply chain planning to ensure plants and vendors are adequately supplied
- Performs assignments that contribute to production scheduling, projection of inventory requirements, data reporting and analysis within established policies and procedures.
- BI-Annual Cycle Count:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of cycle inventory to ensure accuracy of Enterprise Warehouse Management and physical count 2X Annually. Complete accurate inventory verification Quantity
- Receiving
- UOM
- Slot and location audit
- Inventory reconciliation as needed based on the findings of the inventory counts.
- Manage monthly overage and shortages and reconcile the differences.
- Accurately Report and document cycle count financials to 3M Finance ensuring that inventory dollars match physical material. Reporting is completed 4X annually.
- Financial Over and Short/ SOX compliance.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Possess a High School Diploma and/or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Supply Chain discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
- Two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following areas: quality, Cycle Count Inventory, and or Supply Chain Organization in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain or related discipline from an accredited university
- Experience with customer requirements and/or experience in industry
- Skills include communication, writing, handling conflict
- Experience working on a cross functional team
- SAP Experience
- Microsoft Office proficient
