F3EA, Inc. is seeking an Interpersonal Performance Coach with a Special Operations background. F3EA, Inc. is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), established in 2013, and dedicated to delivering high quality training and management service solutions to U.S. Government customers primarily within the Special Operations and Intelligence communities. As a provider of mission support, security, and training services; F3EA’s core competency resides in providing full-spectrum support, development, and execution of interagency Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercises (EDREs) and Joint Full Mission Profile (FMP) exercises to enhance performance and improve operational capabilities both domestically and overseas. The Interpersonal Performance Coach provides instruction in Interpersonal Performance education and training to enhance Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) Soldiers ability to: think and solve problems in unconventional ways; maintain composure while responding to or adjusting one’s own thinking and actions to fit a changing environment; recognize, understand, and navigate within multiple social networks; and proactively shape the environment or circumstances in anticipation of desired outcomes. Develop and provide instruction in Interpersonal Performance that provides the skills and techniques required for ARSOF Soldiers to physically, mentally, and interpersonally excel while operating under high stress in ambiguous, high-risk, chaotic, and physically demanding environments.

Role and Responsibilities

·Instructs ARSOF Soldiers and provides education and training in negotiation and mediation techniques to include aspects of negotiations in a joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational environment.

·As a team member develop, advise, instruct, implement, and provide consultation to outside organizations, as well as to conduct internal research and practice regarding best practices of Interpersonal Performance Coach subject matter, as well as future instruction initiatives, perform statistical analysis and produce oral and/or written reports. Identify, determine efficacy and utilize simulation technology for engagement application.

·As a team member conduct job analysis to work with system design, development, implementation or redesign.

·Advise and provide consultation to outside organizations, as well as to lead team on internal research and practice in order to implement best practices and develop into practical applications.

·Coach Soldiers and Leaders on the acquisition of engagement and negotiations techniques and their application to individual military tasks and unit operations to include field operations.

·Help develop and provide tailored educational programs and workshops to help Soldiers/students acquire and apply negotiation and engagement techniques to individual military tasks and unit operations, to include field operations.

·Help maintain professional development programs to ensure research and practice teams within the Interpersonal Domain are current with the latest literature, findings, and/or best practices relating to all aspects of negotiations, engagements, or cross-cultural communications, adaptive thinking, and Army-related knowledge.

·Provide academic performance consulting to Soldiers/students e.g., engagement and negotiation techniques, conflict styles, adaptive thinking, conflict resolution, and mediation.

·Work in a field environment under adverse conditions including hours of darkness, inclement weather, etc. and nonstandard hours/schedules.

·Assist and provide overview briefings to VIPs and high-ranking leaders when required.

·Periodically work in a field environment observing ARSOF Soldiers (up to 40 hours per two weeks). FTE may be exposed to a variety of weather conditions and extreme temperatures ranging from the upper 120s degrees Fahrenheit in the daytime to the lower 20s degrees Fahrenheit at night. It is the Contractors responsibility to ensure that all its personnel have been briefed and prepared to operate in weather conditions such as hot, cold or wet weather and come with the appropriate clothing and equipment for operating under such conditions.

·Able to conduct movements by land, sea or air via Military/Commercial fixed or rotary wing aircraft, waterborne craft, or ground transport in support of unit training in assigned core supporting tasks. The Government will provide training for embarkation and debarkation and safety procedures of specific movement vehicle (air, land, sea) to be used prior to execution. FTEs shall be required to sign and have on file with their perspective COR a “Government Transportation Waiver of Liability” prior to execution of each training event. The “Government Transportation Waiver of Liability” shall remain in effect for the duration of the exercise or training event.

·Document processes and provide continual process improvement.

·Comply with company standard operating policies and procedures.

·Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

·Minimum of ten (10) years' experience with SOF and a minimum of three (3) OCONUS deployments with SOF.

·Served in leadership positions as a Commissioned Officer (O3 or above), Chief Warrant Officer (CW2 or above), or Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (E-7 or above) in Civil Affairs, Special Forces, or Psychological Operations units.

·Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an instructor with Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) with groups of up to 100 individuals. Preferred: Military Instructor certification.

·Minimum of one (1) years' of experience in negotiations, engagements, or cross-cultural communications with large, small, and individual audiences, in classroom and field environments under adverse conditions.

·Able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Physical Demands

·Able to walk cross-country (uneven, rocky, sandy, and water obstacles up to waist high) in all weather conditions during day, night, and low visibility periods. Able to operate outside of a normal office environment where restrooms and wash facilities are not available.

·Able to carry a backpack (up to 20 pounds) cross-country while observing cadre and Soldiers.

·Able to be transported in government provided ground vehicles and/or military aviation.
