We are seeking a Human Resources Associate to join our Employment team!
In this position you will work primarily with the Parks Department, supporting managers in hiring variable hour and seasonal staff. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Parks Department has 100+ locations which include everything from the Springfield Boathouse to the Dickerson Park Zoo, so supporting this department comes with exciting variety!
You will also have the opportunity to work with the Employment team on a variety of recruitment projects to serve the City's many functionally diverse departments. Experience, Education, and Training
- Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration, or a related field;
- Some Human Resources experience corresponding with the functional program area of the current vacancy.
- Up to two years of related experience or an active PHR or SHRM-CP certification may be substituted for some of the formal education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
