Job Description:

SUMMARY

Producers of the Tri-C JazzFestCleveland and the Performing Arts Series.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble production notebooks and advance artist information packets for the JazzFest and other Performing Arts Events
  • Collect, produce and inventory signage used to organize event production
  • Organize and load van with materials used in event production
  • Assistwith the setup of Mainstage, backstage, offstage festival and event areas anddissemination of event information to functional parties.


Required Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled at Tri-C
  • Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to identify and setup audio/lighting/video gear and musician backline
  • Interest in behind the scenes production planning
  • Extremely organized with good follow through
  • Can stand / work extended length events
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Punctual with reliable transportation to and from work on campus and venues throughout the Cuyahoga County area
  • Recording Arts, Music, Music Business or Theater Major
  • Prior experience in event planning and management
  • Strong Computer Skills - ability to edit pdf's, work in Excel and Microsoft office, as well as learn new software platforms easily
  • Flexibility and good customer service skills
