Vitesco Technologies is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer Intern to join the VT Engineering’s Basic Software Application group in Auburn Hills, MI. You will be part of our global, diverse team that is responsible for developing complex real-time basic software solutions for our powertrain, drivetrain, and electrified control applications.
Responsibilities:
- Software module test for project specific software implementation
- Driver integration test for low level device driver
- Unit test for different basic software component using Tessy
- PC Lint analysis and execution on device driver
- Software documentation
- Generation of report from Jira tools for task management
- Participate actively in project technical synchronization board meetings
- Participate actively in all required software reviews
- Estimate project tasks and track planned and actual estimations
- Define and execute overall and final testing of IO Software for the projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BSW quality by defining and implementing best practices
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems
- Hand-on experience with C programming
- Must maintain a minimum GPA of a 3.0
- Have taken courses of Embedded System and Microcontroller
- MS or PhD student is preferred
