- $23-$25/hour
This is a full time position, Monday-Friday (9:00am-5:00pm), offering full benefits. All candidates must have a minimum of 2-years home health care referral and intake experience. Candidates should be very organized, have excellent computer, customer service and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter new patients into the homecare EMR system (KINNSER)
- Verifies Insurance and Communicates with Referral source
- Identifies and resolves client customer service issues
- Provide office support to field clinical staff, providing them with all required supplies, forms, and clinical information in a timely manner
- Consult with clinical managers and clients to provide appropriate staffing solutions
- Identifies and resolves client customer service issues
- Cheerfully and professionally answers inbound/intake phone calls
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Experience with Home health care referrals and intakes ( 2 years)
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and consistently adhere to changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Excellent telephone skills
- Highly professional and dependable
- Proficient computer and Internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Previous customer service or administrative experience in home health care required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and ER software (JDE or other)
- Proficiency in English
- Results-driven and patient
- High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services is a unique home healthcare agency that services patients under both traditional insurance as well as the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)/Moving Forward Plan (MFP) waiver programs. These waiver programs allow for ongoing therapy services that are not covered by skilled services.
