Our work depends on an Instructional Developer joining our team to design and develop training programs using proven adult learning methodologies and techniques. This includes designing and developing engaging learning activities and compelling course content with a strong focus on e-learning that enhances retention and knowledge transfer. If you enjoy developing structured adult learning activities and making a meaningful impact on career trajectories, you will find this role to be both rewarding and challenging.A day in the life of the Instructional Designer: In this role, a typical day will include:Designing and developing instructional approaches and interactive courseware to meet training requirementsCollaborating with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs, developing instructional strategies, and utilizing various technologies to create engaging and effective learning experiencesDesigning curriculum, creating multimedia elements, and employing instructional design principles to enhance the overall learning processCreating instructional goals and content that supports goals by applying tested instructional design theories, practice, and methodsCreating learning aids (audio, video, simulations, e-learning modules, role plays, games, tests, etc)Staying abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniquesWell-qualified candidates will have:Strong project management skillsAn ability to communicate to diverse audiences through verbal and written communication methodsAn ability to facilitate courses both in person and virtually, if required You MUST have:US CitizenshipBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; AND2 or more years of related experience with adult learning methodologies and techniques6 months or more of e-learning designDemonstrated experience utilizing content authoring tools such Camtasia, Captivate, and ArticulateAn ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a government clearanceAn ability and willingness to work onsite for a minimum of 2 days per monthLouisiana residency living within a 60-mile radius of our Bossier City facility Even BETTER if you have:A training or instructional design certificationDemonstrated experience utilizing Composica WHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsAn opportunity to work on a close-knit collaborative teamRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays #NAVAIRISD This position is not yet funded.
