This is intended to be a full-time position

Salary: $36,0000 plus commission

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Required to make a minimum of 40 cold calls per day to specified group of customers and report sales calls in the Sales Link CRM system.
  • Prepare rental and sales quotes and other items for quick communication to customers using standard templates and other tools set forth by department.
  • Responsible for engaging 400-500 inactive or new accounts from the office, telephone, and email correspondence.
  • Provide customer service to inbound calls from customers and sales representatives.
  • Sell rental equipment services and other Cashman products to specified customers to build customer loyalty within customer base up to a specific dollar amount.
  • Will assist in the development of opportunities/leads from the Rental Coordinators to Rental Sales Representatives and Machine Sales Representatives.
  • Manage lead generation to Rental/Sales Representatives from Construction Notebook, CAT Dealer Opportunity model and other project management sources.
  • Assist in the development and management of leads and opportunities in Sales Link CRM system.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist and help rental representatives on sales orders with Allied Vendors.
  • Build rapport with Rental/Sales Representatives, Rental/Sales Coordinators and Rental Store Managers companywide.
  • Maintain accountability with management and customers.
  • Work varying shifts and overtime as business needs arise.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor.

  • Attend and complete training classes as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Product knowledge of various types of construction equipment. Rental industry knowledge a plus.
  • Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company authorized software systems.
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills.
  • Achieves company goals of customer satisfaction, market dominance, and profitability through leadership qualities demonstrated, and timely employee feedback.
  • Achieve high quality customer service standards through consistent organizational techniques.
  • Accurate and timely accounting of all Rental/Sales leads and communications.
  • Effectively participates as part of the Rental and Sales teams, leading and assisting where appropriate and requesting assistance when needed.
  • Assists in achieving budget and revenue goals set forth by management teams.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Use of all safety equipment as necessary. Report any unsafe acts or conditions.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma, G.E.D. or trade school equivalent.
  • Five (5) years' experience in a Sales/Service department.
  • Two (2) years' experience in a telephone based customer service environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written, verbal, and email form.
