A Computer Science and Information Technology Intern will assist in various areas of AECC's Technology and Security Infrastructure department. We're looking for someone who can maintain a high degree of situational awareness to meet continually changing conditions with a fresh and adaptable approach. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and strive to push forward AECC's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Edit system infrastructure documentation and monitor network & data center analysis systems.
  • Assist the department with a variety of IT research and communications projects.
  • Assist with hardware and software installations, modifications, and maintenance.
  • Research and assist with troubleshooting of workstation support incidents as they occur.
  • Record incidents and service requests in the Service Manager portal for all calls as received and emails not previously recorded.
  • Provide support for Windows OS, Office 365 applications, and mobile devices.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
  • Technologically adept with moderate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Extremely detailed and accuracy oriented.
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
